What is bigfoot golfing?
Our Mission
Our mission is to spread the joy of golf. At the moment we are a solo run golf blog website with big dreams.
As time goes on and as we grow these dreams will hopefully become reality, but for now this is just a site to find some interesting courses in parts of the world you may know very little about. This is your sign to take that trip and do something you’ve always thought about doing. Having a golfing world tour.
The dream is to be able to organise a variety of golf tours, from group tournaments to fun family trips. We will be able to cater to your personal needs. Get in touch and be the first to experience BigFootGolfing’s hospitality and enjoy the best South Africa has to offer along the Garden Route.
Extraordinary Experiences
I have been very fortunate to have grown up playing golf around South Africa. I also managed to find myself living in South-East Asia for around 7 years. Although most of this time has been spent teaching ESL. This is the start of me sharing my golfing experiences with you.
Playing in the USA, South Africa, Cambodia and Vietnam have all been vastly different and hopefully, this page inspires you to start your own adventures.
A bit about me
Being someone who had the privilege and good luck to grow up in South Africa with parents who themselves have been fortunate enough to find financial success in the country, I was able to play a few really incredible golf courses in the country.
I really started to catch the bug when I was 15. I started playing club competitions at Walmer Golf Club, after honing my skills at Kragga Kamma and Sardinia Bay Mashee Courses. WGC was where I learned to play competitively. I managed to get selected for league sides for three different clubs during my educational years and played in the Eastern Cape Junior Golf Foundation.
